C9 had a dreadful start to their NA LCS finals. Game one was the fastest win ever in LCS finals history as TSM dominated C9 thoroughly. Hauntzer played Camille and went crazy against Ray's Kennen. TSM picked a Karma Caitlin bot lane to be extremely aggressive and Ivern to slow down Contractz's Lee Sin. Bjergson won mid lane, but the important lanes everyone was looking at were top and bot. Camille has been permabanned from Hauntzer nearly all season and this game showed us why!

On Saturday Phoenix1 triumphed over Dignitas in a 3-0 victory. The first game, Dignitas had a lead all game, and even still had several hundred gold up on P1 at the end, but they threw it all away with a horrible baron play. It just went downhill from there. Then on Sunday, FlyQuest defeated CLG in a close 3-2 series. This series had many interesting picks and builds that we do not generally see. In game one, Darshan steamrolled Balls' Rumble with his AD bruiser Fizz top lane. He even took a Mejai's Soulstealer to further his insane lead. Huhi played his world famous Aurelion Sol, absolutely dominating the game and finishing out with 12/1/8. Also, FlyQuest banned Kennen, which is interesting because not many teams in NA have used it, though Darshan has been playing on hit Kennen lately in solo que. CLG also dominated game two. Darshan took another interesting pick and went Dr. Mundo into Balls' Rumble and went 7/0/8. He also took Ohmwrecker, which is practically a forgotten item that very few people ever build anymore. Huhi played Ahri and used a very interesting build, with both a Hextech Gunblade and a Lich Bane, and did rather well. Moon took Blade of the Ruined King on Graves, though that ended horribly, and FlyQuest also tried to play Fnatics Kennen Zyra bottom lane, losing hard to CLG's Ashe Nami lane. However, FlyQuest began the comeback in game three with an aggressive Caitlin Karma bottom lane to shut down CLG's Ashe Nami. They were also able to shut down Darshan's Fizz while keeping Balls on Rumble and put Hai on Talon to beat Huni's Syndra and allow for more roaming. In game four, both teams had fairly standard compositions. Balls was put on Renekton as Rumble was banned and Altec stole Ashe from Stixxay. In the final game, Stixxay made the mistake of trying to play Kalista in season seven. Moon also stunned on his pocket pick Evelynn, ending out 2/0/11.
